Bird of Paradise and Wknd Snapshots.

Monday morning workout- 55 minutes of spin class, back in the saddle with my hardcore 5:45 am-ers.
Happy seis de Mayo! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend full of some r & r. Mine was quite lovely…lots of rest, an invigorating yoga class, and some yummy eats.
Starting off with 90 straight minutes of power vinyasa flow. Cashed in on my birthday freebie from my favorite yoga studio. Gettin’ bendy with it.
My favorite yoga move of all time has to be the bird of paradise. Such a beautiful pose. I am slowly getting back into it.
Mama joined me and she rocked it too. After class we went to our spot for some yummy Tex Mex. Rehydrating with sangria swirls on the patio.
I deviated from my usual dish and tried their veggie tamales which were super delicious and hit the spot.
We did a little shopping and browsing around at the boutique next door. I found the perfect wrap watch. Love this color too.
Later on I just chilled and finally saw Silver Linings Playbook. Such a good movie…forever girl crushing on Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper is a serious hottie.
This week in workouts-
Monday- Spin class/abs
Tuesday- Bodypump/3 mile run
Weds- Spin class
Thursday-6 mile run
Friday- REST
Saturday- 10 mile run
How was your weekend? Did you celebrate Cinco de Mayo?

  2. I LOVE yoga – fun stuff! Looks like you had a great weekend too! Thanks for sharing! P.S. I’ve nominated you for a Liebster Award! Feel free to participate for fun, if you’d like! 🙂

  3. LOVING the wrap watch!!! As usual, your weekend looked like it was filled with fun. And your upcoming workout schedule, I LOVE!!! 😉 I sometimes have to come here for some motivation…

Hope you have a great start to the week.

  4. Looks like you had quiet a bueno Cinco! Love that your mamacita came too.

OK, I watched Silver Linings on the plane but think I need to watch it again. But yes, hello Bradley!

    Sounds like a perfect weekend.

  5. I live and breathe for tamales and those veggie ones looks AMAZING! I hope you ate every last bite!

I watched Silver Linings Playbook with the hubs this past Friday and it was so intense and SO GOOD! J-Lawrence is my girl crush too and it worked out perfectly because Bradley Cooper is my celebrity boyfriend … he just doesn’t know it yet!

  6. Kudos to you for rockin’ the Bird of Paradise! I think that was the first more advanced yoga pose that I was able to get into, so I have a soft spot in my heart for that one. Keep up the awesome yoga practice–you’ll be doing headstands and scorpion in no time! 🙂

    • Oh Lordy! I did attempt headstand once at a studio and the instructor had to spot me, I held it maybe for some seconds…definitely a ways away from doing that! I also want to get back to doing my backbends. I do love yoga for the body/mind connection! I makes me feel so zen 🙂
