This morning before my run I got in a quick AMRAP workout. Did this strength shot I told you about before. Quick but very effective. It’s mostly bodyweight exercises but I used weights for the squats and lunges portion. Felt good to get it in.
The toughest part had to be the walking planks. They were challenging but I liked it! I will have to do these more often.
Soon after I jumped out to meet my friend Elyse for a quick 5 mile loop at our favorite little playground.
I love running with this girl because she always pushes me to go just a little bit faster. Always trying to keep up with her! She’s definitely a lot speedier than me but it’s so motivating to run with someone who’s faster sometimes. She’s always just a beat or two ahead of me but I enjoy chasing after her.
Picked up a the pace a bit towards the end. Felt good to finish strong.
Came home, cleaned up. Made myself a smoothie. Wearing a new maxi…rocking the chevron.
Subbing a spin class tonight after work. I am also teaching in the morning so it will mostly be me
dancing around and yelling at them keeping them motivated off the bike for an hour. They love it.
