Happy Happy Friday to you! Why did my 3 day work week feel like a full 5 days? Seriously so much cray cray stuff goin’ on. I am definitely looking forward to this weekend’s run…last long run before 26.2 time baby! It has been a long summer of hot, humid training, getting up early to beat the heat, but I have loved every minute and mile of it!
This training season has gone well…I think there’s always a few hiccups and hurdles you encounter when you’re training for an endurance race…BUT I am happy to come out strong and feeling mentally prepared to tackle what’s ahead of me!

Switching gears a bit…Let’s talk about my faves this week!
-My fall/winter squash is back. Last year I discovered kabocha and got hooked…they pull it off of the shelves in spring/summer but now it’s back! Can’t wait to make up all kinds of recipes with these babies.
–25 Things That Get Harder After Age 25. I think all of these got harder for me after I graduated college. Plus can we talk about how much I love NeNe animated gifs? She is forever cracking me up.
-A dress rehearsal this week wearing my new shorts that I’ll be rocking for the marathon. Love these hot colors.
-Went back in time this week with this track. Please believe it’s now on the cycle playlist for next week. Gotta love those 90s hits.
–Successful peeps that get up early to run, one of them being the lady Prez of Starbucks. I knew I liked that place.
