Fall Bucket List.

Ahh fall is here! My favorite time of year. Things are just a bit calmer, the weather is crisp and cool, and lots of opportunities to celebrate the season with friends and family. Here are a few things I have on my bucket list for my absolute favorite season!
-Go to the fair
I always get excited for fall because that means the State Fair of TX is just around the corner! Only one time a year do I have an excuse to indulge in this stuff. Yum yum.

Also the BF and I love to walk around and play all of the games. We tend to get a bit competitive…

-Fill my house with fall candles
Currently in the house right now is Cider Lane. I switch between that one and Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin. The smell of autumn scents in my apartment just makes me feel cozy.

-Take advantage of running in the cooler weather
Some of my favorite races are in the fall and winter seasons. I absolutely love running the Turkey Trot every year on Thanksgiving. It gives me an excuse to dress like an Indian.

-Go to a football game
BF loves the Denver Broncos and we are hoping to catch a game sometime this season when they come to Dallas or H.town. I am not a huge football fanatic but I love going to games and just being in the atmosphere!
-Find new pumpkin recipes
My favorite fall recipe right now has to be this pumpkin bread. Cake mix and pumpkin, how much easier can you get? I’m thinking of making this soup in the slow cooker next.

-Drink more tea
Right now I’m pretty obsessed with David’s Tea. I have a cup of glitter and gold just about every morning! I love making tea in the french press. It has become my little ritual. I have my eye now on the pumpkin chai and buttered rum flavors to order next.

  1. I busted out the fall scented candles this weekend! The candles don’t even compare to the smell of fall foods, but they’re a close second. Football games are really fun in the fall. I really need to go apple picking asap. I was planning to do the 5 mile Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving, but my leg is not cooperating now so it’s kind of up in the air, but I’m hopeful that I will heal up by then!

  2. I love fall candles (well I love all candles really), but there is something so nice about having candles lit when the weather gets cooler!

  3. I’ve heard the Texas state fair is awesome! I didn’t make it to the Utah state fair this year. I think my boyfriend has his kids for Halloween this year, so we’ll get to go trick or treating, plus you have to carve a pumpkin this time of year. 🙂

  4. I absolutely LoVe fall too. It’s my favorite time of year. P wanted an October baby. We love Halloween. Apple picking, corn mazes. Too bad we won’t get to do too much of that though. Baby will be too small.

I love how you and bf are competitive with games. Hahahaha. Too funny. Can’t wait to live vicariously through your fun fall activities.

I am hoping to do a turkey trot but I’ll have to see if P will approve (he will have to watch baby #2). Lol.
