Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am.

This morning I was craving a jaunt on the treadmill so I ventured over to my apartment gym to get it in. It’s truly like my little playground. I can get my run on, lift weights, and catch up on the news all in one session. Wham bam thank you ma’am.
I did some tricep extensions, shoulder presses, and core work before calling it a day. I love going in there after 7 am because the gym is practically empty so I can play my music as loud as I want.
This was this morning’s theme song. The clean version of course.
I made myself some lunch and threw some figs in there. I found these Sierra figs at the store and they were a little pricey but I had to buy them just because they look pretty. I love pretty food.
Oh I and bought myself some colorful new windscreens for the wireless mic to teach my spin classes. I lose them all the time so I have to buy them in bulk. Thanks Ebay.
By the way…happy October! This is without a doubt one of my favorite months of the year. Hopefully it will bring along some cooler weather down here. Time to start checking some things off of that fall bucket list.
Have you made any fun fall recipes yet?
Yes..pumpkin brownies – it’s literally just a box of brownie mix and pumpkin. It’s hard not to eat the batter.
What’s your theme song right now?

  1. I’m jealous of your little playground. I gave up my playground so P could have a man cave just as long as he gave me a baby… And here we are three years later. Lol.

Oh I need to go pumpkin and apple picking soon!! Just waiting for Sebastian to be a little over 3-weeks. That will be tomorrow. Then I can start some fall recipes. Yay.

    • That’s super cute 🙂 I need to hit up a pumpkin patch! One thing I can’t do is haunted houses…although the BF gets a kick out of me screaming and getting scared…LOL

      Happy 3 weeks to Sebastian!

  2. I had a pumpkin frosted muffin this morning that my co-worker made. It was not my cheat day, but they looked so yummy I shared half with a friend. Had to have a taste, it’s pumpkin season!

  3. You are such a speedy runner! I’m envious! The one song that sticks in my head right now during a run or something is Roar by Katy Perry. Too bad I don’t know all the words, huh? Lol.

  4. It is full-on fall here: leaves turning colors, crisp evening air, and chilly temps in the morning (30*!!). I bought my first can of pumpkin puree and plan to make muffins this weekend.
