Playing Dora the Explorer and Ladies Night Out.

Yet another great morning to run…temps were in the 40s even at 8 am. I set out for a quick 4 miles before work followed up with arms and core work in my living room.

It’s finally starting to look and feel like fall in Texas. Leaves are scattered about everywhere. Found this heart leaf while playing Dora the Explorer at the end of my run.

I think God was smiling down on me just a little bit.
Tonight is Ladies Night at Luke’s Locker in Plano! It should be fun – you should definitely come out if you’re in the Plano area. I love going to these every year. A fabulous fashion show, vino, snacks and runner girls…all of my favorite things wrapped up into one event.

Is it starting to feel/look like fall where you are? When’s the last time you’ve had a girls nite out?

  1. You are STILL my inspiration to get my workouts done in the morning!

And it’s getting SO chilly here in Indiana! The leaves have turned and fallen AND we’re starting to get snow flurries. I don’t know about you, but I LOVE running in cold weather. I have my first marathon in just TWO WEEKS and it’s going to be frigid–Can’t wait!

    • YAY!! I can’t believe your first marathon is already here…so exciting!! I know you will do well!

And I’m totally with you on the cold weather running…I wish it was just a little bit colder here in TX!!!

  2. I don’t remember the last time I had a girls night out or something. I should really get on that.

If I go up in to the canyons & mountains here in Utah, you can really see the beautiful fall colors, but down in the valley, it’s just cold.

  3. I am jealous of your morning runs and girls night out. WAHHHHH. I’m sure once I am fully adjusted I could be back to normal. Though, I can’t use the double jogger until the baby’s at least 6 months and it’s still cold here in March so I won’t be able to actually do it until May. Ugh. You and your girls are too cute. Enjoy fall weather.
