My head was definitely in the clouds during this morning’s run. The sky was gorgeous for the entirety of 6 miles.
Right before I went out to play I did this butt buster from my NTC app. Repeat the set 3x.
I recommend doing the bridge/hip lifts with an 8 lb weight. You will really feel the burn!
Post run concoction…spinach, frozen strawberries, banana and coconut almond milk. Blend and sip.
I am about to put that gear back into drive for a few fun races coming up. Of course a couple of holiday races are on the horizon that I have my eyes on…still debating doing the Turkey Trot this year. I do love me some Thanksgiving running though so I may just do a fun run in my hood before I get my grub on.
I am skipping out on The Color Run this weekend (sad face) to do my long run with my running group. Last long run before this baby…
Definitely equal parts excited and ready for this race! I ran it last year with Team VW and will be doing so again this year! It will definitely be a good time and I’m so thankful for that opportunity. It will also be my first year running the full 26.2 on this course!
Oh the memories of doing this race (the half) for the past few years…and training runs with my running group…has definitely been incredible. P.S. You get bonus points if you can find me in the video below.
Then of course I have a few more items up my sleeve but I like to keep you on your toes. One race that I’m also excited about this winter is the Houston Marathon…
I la la love me some H.town and I feel like a piece of my heart is always left there when I leave that city. I wonder why…
Running on that course in January will be a very special moment for me.
