Happy Friday to you! I don’t know about you but this weekend could not have come at a better time. I’m in need of a little r and r for sure. Work has been hectic and I just want to let my hair down a little bit. I’m something like a caged animal ready to be set free.
So…cheers to the freakin’ weekend.
Some of my favorites this week…
–5 Reasons Why Every Runner Should Do Yoga. They forgot number 6…because it just plain feels awesome. All I know is I come out of there feeling ZEN and happy about life. And no I don’t care that I’m the runner in the class that does not look super limber. I just go with the flow. This was definitely me my very first time doing yoga a few years ago but I can say that I’ve definitely made some progress.
-Coconut water of course…I am officially addicted to natural Zico. I’m going to stock my fridge with this stuff for after my runs this weekend.
-Love that the folks from the Dallas Marathon sent me a souvenir shirt along with a sweet little note. Even though the race was called off due to the Icepocalypse. Thanks so much marathon peeps! See you in 2014.
-Layered pearls. Carrie Bradshaw did it right. Classic.
-OPI Bubble Bath. Such a pretty nail color.
-I have a strange new obsession with beets in juice form. So much that I have been searching beet smoothie recipes all week. I love this juice from Nekter Juice Bar…beets, kale, apple, celery and more amazingness. Yum.
