I am in love with this recipe as a yummy after dinner treat. It kind of reminds me of the plantains I order when I go to the Cuban restaurant! So easy. Slice up some bananas, and drizzle honey then sprinkle cinnamon on top. I love using Saigon Cinnamon.
Bake in the oven on 350 for about 15 minutes and there you have it!
This week’s spin playlist has a few new songs and some old. I actually love to add some songs I used to play when I taught dance class because we can rock it out and cycle to the beat. This ride starts out pretty hilly and then we pick up the pace with speed in the back half leading up to a strong finish.
Wild Ones- Flo Rida feat Sia: Warm up
Vida 23- Pitbull feat Nayer: Climb 5/6/7 Double time at chorus
Fall Down- Will.i.am feat Miley Cyrus: Jumps
Shooting Star (Party Rock Remix)- David Rush feat LMFAO, Pitbull: Sprints
Treasure- Bruno Mars: Active recovery
I Found You- The Wanted: Rolling hills
Girls- Jennifer Lopez: Rolling hills/Standing attacks
Moves Like Jagger- Maroon 5: Easy run
Patron Tequila- Paradiso Girls feat Lil Jon, Eve: Accelerations
Pour it Up- Rihanna: Jumps
Mr. Saxobeat- Omega El Fuerte: Rolling hills/Standing attacks
Beautiful World (Michael Woods Remix)- Tiesto feat Mark Knight and Dino: Climb 8/9/10/11
Marching Band Medley (Drumline Soundtrack)- Rolling hills, last 30 seconds sprint to the finish
Part II (On the Run)- Jay-Z, Beyonce: Cool down
That drumline medley is one of my favorite ways to end class – on an epic note.
Oh and go check out my guest post over at 3 Cheap Runners – on my favorite forms of running recovery!! Good stuff.
