Revs Up the Day and Some Sweet Deals.

Last night’s spin class was crazy fun. I am always telling my Wednesday night peeps all we need is a disco ball and party lights and it would seriously be like a nightclub. They like to dance and sing on the bike like me. We decided to do the Wobble song at the end. Talk about a good time.
This morning I set out for a quick run in my hood…first run since the marathon. It did help to spin last night and get the legs moving because this morning felt amazing.

It’s just something about getting fresh air first thing in the morning that really revs up the day. This run was slow but it felt so good to be back out there. One thing I love about having run a handful of marathons is how you start to quickly recover from each one. Of course stretching lots and wearing compression socks 24/7 definitely helps.
Those of you that enjoy obstacle courses…I have a sweet deal for you. The Shape Diva Dash is headed to 10 different cities this year and they’ve given me a discount to save on your registration! This one looks like a lot of fun. I’ve never done an obstacle course type of run before but it definitely looks like some crazy fun. And a great excuse to wear a tutu.
Save $10 when you register by using the code AXBLOG. Check their site to see if/when it will be in your city!
Also…get it while it lasts…50% off Pro Compression socks with code INSIDER14. And go buy these Shamrock socks (While they’re HOT!! They do tend to sell out) to rock at your next race. I’ve got ‘em and definitely will be wearing them all of St. Patty’s weekend.

Have you ever done an obstacle course type of race…or a mud run? Who is celebrating MARDI GRAS this weekend?! I sure am!

  1. I’ll definitely have to use that promo code for compression socks. I need some new compression socks bad!!! The St Patrick’s Day ones look cute!!! I love doing mud runs!! They are SO fun, but I just haven’t had the money lately to do them. Maybe I can get the boyfriend and his kids to do it with me this year. 🙂

  2. I’ve done 2 Spartans here in NY. Both were spartan sprints…one in a stadium which was super easy and one at a ski resort which was the hardest, most challenging and gratifying experience of my life. I did it with my fiancé and 3 cousins…I definitely needed help from the males to get me over some of those walls…but I loved every second. We are doing it again in June!!!! I say go for it
