Last night’s spin class was crazy fun. I am always telling my Wednesday night peeps all we need is a disco ball and party lights and it would seriously be like a nightclub. They like to dance and sing on the bike like me. We decided to do the Wobble song at the end. Talk about a good time.
This morning I set out for a quick run in my hood…first run since the marathon. It did help to spin last night and get the legs moving because this morning felt amazing.
It’s just something about getting fresh air first thing in the morning that really revs up the day. This run was slow but it felt so good to be back out there. One thing I love about having run a handful of marathons is how you start to quickly recover from each one. Of course stretching lots and wearing compression socks 24/7 definitely helps.
