Move of the Day and Weds Spin Playlist.

I made my comeback to Nike Training Club workouts this morning. If you don’t have this app, seriously what are you waiting for? It’s like the gym and a personal trainer all on your phone. This morning I did the Flex Machine workout. Lots of plank rows, squats, one legged deadlifts and any other craziness you can think of. I had a rest day yesterday (and much needed after Sunday) so that helped put a little bit more pep in my step.

Move of the day was definitely these flutter kicks. So good for the core and gets me every time.

Here’s my cycle playlist for the week! I love teaching with some brand new jams. Excited to spin with my happy hour crew tonight. We’ll do lots of climbing to this awesome mashup. Can you believe this is 68 songs in one?

Timber- Pitbull ft Kesha: Warm up
Bottoms Up- Trey Songz ft Nicki Minaj: Jumps
Clarity- Zedd: Standing run
Drinking from the Bottle- Calvin Harris ft Tinie Tempah: Sprints
Loyal- Chris Brown: Active recovery
We Run the Night- Havana Brown ft Pitbull: Rollling hills/standing attacks
Jealous (I Ain’t With it) Jumpsmokers Remix- Chromeo: Climb 7/8/9
Bottle Pop- Pussycat Dolls ft Snoop Dogg: Accelerations
Take Back the Night- Justin Timberlake: Recover 1 min, back to standing run
Pop Danthology 2013 (Mashup)- Various: Rolling hills
Dark Horse- Katy Perry ft Juicy J: Climb 8/9/10/11
Hold On We’re Going Home- Drake: Easy run
The Hand Clap- Hurricane Chris: Jumps, last 30 seconds sprint to the finish
Soldier of Love- Sade: Cool down

What brand new jams have you heard lately? Doing anything fun tonight?

  1. I love your playlist! I instruct a spin class too. I use this playlist a few times a year around patriotic holidays and the members love it. Being from MA and the one year anniversay of the marathon bombing, I’ll be using it in a couple of weeks.
