I had to celebrate the 1st day of April this morning with a run. You know I wouldn’t have it any other way. 4 miles enjoying the peacefulness of the outdoors on a cloudy day. I did miss my sunrise a little bit but this view of the lake helped.
I am really enjoying using the Nike app so far because it gives you all kinds of fun stats. For instance 100% of my runs so far have all been in the mornings. haha early bird at it’s finest.
I love my a.m. workouts because you get it out of the way and for me it feels good to go to work knowing I’ve already taken care of myself and gotten something accomplished.
After my run I did a little strength set in my living room with weights. Chest presses, tricep dips, plank rows and full extensions. This is probably my favorite abs move…I always feel the effects of it afterwards.
Tonight I’m subbing a spin class at the gym. I will probably stay off the bike and work the room a bit. Making a little extra pocket change for Puerto Rico with this girl at the end of this month. Oh yes…it’s my 30th birthday month and I will be celebrating every single day of it.
And now I will work the day away and figure out how to play an April fools prank on someone. There are some good ideas here. Enjoy.
