I’m making great strides this week with the whole moving ordeal. Last night I attacked the kitchen, tossed things away and cleaned out all of the cabinets. I also labeled a whole bunch of boxes to throw things in. Boxes galore in my living room now. You know you are a runner when you have designated boxes set aside to put running stuff in.
How sweet is it that the new place I’m moving to is already throwing me a housewarming? haha…actually they just always have events and things to do for the community and tonight they’re throwing a lakeside shindig. And well…they invited me so I may have to swing by.
This morning I set out for what was originally planned to be 4 miles but I made it 6. We had a little bit of a cold front come in along with the rain last night so temps were about 50 something degrees. Felt a little bit like early springtime again so it made me want to run longer.
If you want to run faster and negative split towards the end of your run always play the Tootsee Roll song. I’m telling you it will make you pick up the pace.

Staring into screens…haha…such a hard habit to break. But so true. I’m guilty of it too. We all have to look up every once in a while.
