Monday is here again. I hope you had a good weekend! My day started bright and early as usual teaching my a.m. spin class. It was a good crowd and I was happy to be back in the saddle after time off on holiday last week.
Let’s recap a little bit of the weekend! Starting with my Saturday morning 20 mile run. I was ready to tackle this run and just get it over with. I got started around 7:30 am and temps were already soaring past 80 degrees. 3 hours of running and when I was done it was 90! Can you believe it? Even though it was so hot I felt good before and after this run.
I inhaled two big bottles full of water and some lemon lime NUUN. Gosh that stuff is a lifesaver. I need a lifetime supply of that and coconut water.
After that I got in my compression socks…took a nap…then charged my batteries for a fun night out…but first, let me take a selfie.
A little karaoke and dancing with the…cops?! So fun. The po po was getting down.
Sunday funday and a recovery run in my hood. 4 mile loop enjoying a drop of some cooler weather. And by cooler I mean 78 degrees with a million percent humidity. Sheesh.
That is all…overall a fun weekend. Oh and I also got a massage on Sunday. 60 minutes of pure bliss. Actually it was deep tissue so it was some ouchiness involved but you always feel nice and loose when it’s over.
