TGIFriday Faves.

What’s good? It’s payday Friday around here and I got paid from my big girl job!! So that’s something to be happy about.

Am I the only one that gets excited when I wake up to a text message from my bank with that direct deposit? Makes me smile from ear to ear.

I digress…let’s get to my faves this week!

9 running norms you can break. Definitely applies to all runners. Love this girl and her posts. Plus hello, she tackles 100 milers like no one’s business.
Fallgasm…12 steps to a perfect fall. If I haven’t told you a million times by now I’m all about pumpkin scented everything. Especially candles and candle warmers. This guy is making my office smell deliciously yummy.

-I have my eye on the Kayano 21s…even if they are $160 dollars. I’ve gotta have ‘em.

8 pet peeves you may have about runners. Haha…stoppers during a race. Seriously drives me nuts. Hilarious.

What are you up to this weekend?
Anyone running long?
20 miler on tap over here.
Oh and it’s National Run at Work Day! So go run for me…now!

  1. Ohhhh somebody’s got $$$ MONEY $$$ woohoo!!! On tap for this weekend is a much needed rest day tomorrow and training run #4 on the race course Sunday. I’m looking forward to tomorrow though. This 6 days on running / 1 day off is painful. Good … but painful lol. Anyway, I know it’ll all pay off in the end. 🙂

  2. Hey!! Happy Friday!! The 8 pet peeves are great and um, very true!! 😉 Yep, stoppers can get frustrating at races. Also, the Garmin one!! Hehe!! Hilarious and she’s right! I love my Garmin but it’s definitely not always accurate!! Have a fun, fabulous weekend!! XOXO!!

  3. Hope your 20 miler went well! Gettin’ up there with the mileage! I tried on the Kayano 20 and 21 side-by-side and I thought they felt very similar but the new ones felt like they had a little less cushion under the toe. Don’t know if you’ve had the chance to try them on yet. 🙂
