8 Miles, Yoga and My Go-To Outfit.

I was loving the peace and solitude of this morning’s run + some yoga. 8 easy miles, enjoying a little breeze even though it was mostly warm. It was definitely a good run though. I needed the quiet time.

Afterwards I did some planks and hip openers in my living room. If you’re busy busy on the go I definitely recommend you try this out. It was a nice cleanse to get my day going especially after a good run..and my body definitely needed it. Sometimes I forget how much I love the challenge of yoga any how happy it makes my body (and mind) feel.

I’m a little strapped for time but I read a devotional that really encouraged me…let love be your ‘go-to outfit’ today.

When’s the last time you’ve done yoga?

  1. The trail you ran on looks beautiful! Glad you had a great run. I’ve been thinking a lot about trying to bring kindness in all aspects of my life, which I think is similar to love in that you’re loving others and/or yourself when you practice kindness. It’s been over a week since I went to a yoga class due to my marathon and an obscene migraine that won’t go away. Hoping to make it to a class later this week!

  2. Love that devo excerpt, with the idea of love being our go-to, our best worn pair of jeans, our fave accessory, our normal. So good!! Thx for sharing.

  3. I love how you just run 8 miles during the week before work. Those mornings are the BEST. It will be harder for me to get up and run before work with both kids — mainly because the sun doesn’t rise till after 6:45 these mornings. Oh yeah. It’s FALL.

I haven’t done yoga in so long — like an actual class. Funny though, I was looking all over for a yoga class yesterday – preferably something during work hours. I’m guessing that would work best for me. and something not CRAZY expensive either. 🙂

  4. It’s been YEARS since I’ve done yoga. Probably last spring some time. Lol. I kind of want to try hot yoga, but i don’t deal with heat well, so I’m not sure. Oh, & i know i say this alot, but you have such beautiful places to run! I’m kinda jealous.
