8 miles this morning chasing the sun through the trees…my goodness was it humid! I think we are experiencing a little bit of an Indian summer down here in Texas. But I got it done.
I also got in a little bit of strength training this morning. My body was seriously craving it. Planks, squats, and pushups with this Nike Training Club workout. Repeat the circuit a few times for a nice burn. I love how the moves are quick with no recovery in between.
And do the real burpees…not the modified ones. Also, these kickdowns are a killer.
Speaking of a nice burn…I also got in a lovely lunchtime run yesterday. I tell ya, it does bring tons of energy into the 2nd half of my day to run at lunch. I was in such a blah mood before that run too. It’s amazing what a few miles can do.
Oh, and before I go…guess what just came through in the mail. Holy cannoli…it just got real.
