11 Miles, Oysters, Holiday Tea and Wknd Recap.

Well hello there! I rolled outta bed this morning to teach my early a.m. spinners. We got a good hour long workout in on that spin bike. Great way to kick off Monday.

Speaking of spin bikes…have you seen this pretty pink one? Looks like I’m going to have to figure out a way to get it. Too bad it’s about $1700. Maybe for my birthday.

Backtracking to the weekend. Mine was equal parts enjoyable, productive and relaxing. Me and my girls kicked things off with drinks and fun at Boulevardier in the Bishop Arts District. Love this spot! We shared some oysters and vino.

Saturday was actually pretty relaxing. I ran a bunch of errands and picked some items up from the grocery store. Stocked up on a lifetime supply of tea. Actually this is just all of the holiday teas from the shelf but you best believe I got me some Holiday Chai. Man is it delicious.

I’m still on the hunt for this one. Christmas in Paris. Doesn’t that just sound lovely? Add a little honey and you’re in heaven.

Sunday morning I was up for some running in the park. I did 11 miles…back to double digits since the marathon a few short weeks ago. It felt good to be back in the game.

Actually I am feeling it today. Time to schedule that massage.

I ended the weekend with some spaghetti squash. I have no idea why but I was craving it so I bought a little one and popped it in the oven. Spaghetti squash with a bit of cheese and avocado. Great on a chilly night.

And well…it also wouldn’t be the weekend without talking time for a selfie.

How was your weekend? Have you eaten any squash lately? Tried any new teas or coffees?

  1. I have three different types of squash sitting on my counter right now so I’ll be taking a page from your book haha. I’ve been really inspired lately to experiment some more with spaghetti squash. Bikes in general are so much more expensive than I thought they were so I can’t even imagine how much a spin bike would be haha. Love that you’re back in the 11-mile game. If I ever ran 11 miles for fun I’d throw myself a party 😉 I’m still kicking it at six haha

  2. Congrats on the 11 mile run, Chelsea! Woo woo! Sounds like you had a great weekend! I’ve been LOVINGGG the spaghetti squash as well! I live in New England and snapped up a whole bunch of different varieties at the farmers market – we haven’t had a serious frost yet so they are still going strong. Spaghetti squash is so versatile, I will definitely have to give it a shot using your toppings! Um, I’m also going to need to find that tea – sounds divine! If I see any Christmas in Paris I’ll let you know. 🙂 And the spin bike – yes, please. Hope you have a great week and Happy Monday!

    • Hi I love your blog! You are very inspiring for sure. I was curious about your diet because you are extremely active . What is a typical day like for you eating wise? Calorie intake?

  3. Mmm, that Holiday Chai Tea seems delicious. I love the weeks leading up to the holidays. It can be a little stressful and chaotic, but it’s so well worth it in the end. Great job on 11 miles and um, YES, I would love a spin bike at home so I can skype you and you can teach spin to me. HAHA

    • We definitely need to figure out the Skype situation!! You’d love the holiday tea…I was reading the ingredients and some of the flavors added to the chai were Jamaican rum and gingerbread…I was like, no wonder I like this! lol

  4. You look so beautiful!! Love your selfie!! Sounds like an amazing weekend filled with lots of my favorite things!! Tea, spaghetti squash, avocado, and cheese!! YUM! Also, you gotta get that pink spin bike!! Just so cute!! I can see you riding on it now!!! Have a great week!! XOXO

  5. I am a tea addict! I have my coffee in the morning but after that its all caffeine free tea & honey for me. Jasmine Green tea is my favorite but I just picked up the Holiday Bigelow Ginger Snappish. It’s yummy with a bit of almond milk.
