I Run Because…

-It helps my mind relax…I have a bit of a monkey mind and it just helps me work things out in this crazy head of mine.
-I love to connect with nature. To be one with the pavement…the trail…and the sunrise.

-I’m addicted to the runner’s high.
-Others can’t. These strong legs of mine are something I’m very proud of.
-My personal best is just that…mine and mine alone.
-Adrenaline and endorphins are amazingly powerful.
-I love to get out of my comfort zone, do what I fear doing, and push my limits to see what I’m capable of.
-I’d rather log crazy miles and be outside for hours than do chores around the house.

Haha…just being honest.
-I’m generally a morning person…yes, I am one of THOSE people…and it brings a whole new energy into my day.
-There’s no better way to travel and experience the sights and sounds of a new city.
-The bling bling race medals are fun to collect and just the icing on the cake.

  1. I run because I can, and too many people I love can’t. I also tried to quit running a few times, but I keep running because I can’t quit. Haha! I’d rather be addicted to running than something unhealthy!

  3. I run because it brings me so much peace — which is ironic because the feelings that come after a run are always adrenaline and endorphins. But overall it calms my anxiety and makes me feel like I, as an individual, accomplished something great for myself. I love the feeling you get when you’re just running outside pounding the pavement, looking around at your neighborhood or wherever you’re traveling. It’s a way to explore!
