Enjoying the Moment and a Coconut Almond Green Smoothie.

This was just about the only thing to get me up and out the door this morning. Just a few miles soaking up the sun and enjoying the moment. Being in the present…yeah not so good at that. But I’m working on it.

After the run I did a quick strength/core workout in my living room that went a little like this. Repeat the set 4x w/ weights.

Switching gears a bit…I have a quick and easy Coconut Almond Green smoothie you can whip up to get you going for the work day! I was excited to bust out my fancy travel blender. Just blend, pop it out and go. Works for me.

Here’s what you need-
-1 cup spinach
-Handful frozen strawberries and/or bananas (I used both)
-Handful pineapples
-1/2 cup coconut almond milk (I used Almond Breeze)

Blend and serve! Top with more strawberries or shredded coconut and enjoy!

What do you like to put into your favorite smoothie?

  1. I love your smoothie recipe! Will try! I need to start incorporating more greens into my smoothies. Such a great way to veggie up my breakfast. As far as smoothies, I love topping with blueberries and chia seeds! Great job on your run and workout! Love your workout, too!! A great one! Have a wonderful day! XOXO

  2. The only sunshine I saw today was the photo in your post! 😛 That smoothie recipe looks divine, I’m glad you busted your blender out because I am def going to have to try that! Nice workout too, I am about to go do some cardio shoveling outside. Hope you’re having a great day!! 😀

  3. That smoothie sounds so tropical! Even though it’s not blizzard-ing where I live, all this talk of snow makes me want to head to the tropics! Maybe I will just head to my blender instead! 🙂

  4. That smoothie looks great!! I like adding pb2 and chocolate protein powder for a peanut butter chocolate smoothie 🙂

  5. That smoothie looks delightful. I love smoothies, but haven’t made them in awhile. I will have to get back to doing that soon. I need to get some fresh fruits. 🙂
