Irish Blessing and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Bites.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Since today is the official holiday I thought I’d give you a little Irish blessing. You’re welcome.

Today I’m up in the kitchen whipping up some tasty treats! Oatmeal chocolate chip bites! Not only do they take little to no time to make, they will make your house smell amazing, and taste a bit like banana bread. Yum…the oatmeal gives it a wholesome taste as well.

Best of all you only need 3 ingredients!

-2 bananas, ripe
-1 1/2 cups of organic rolled oats
-1 cup of chocolate chips (the more chocolate the better…always)

Mash the bananas up with a fork until softened. Stir in the oats and then fold in chocolate chips til thoroughly mixed together. Roll up in neat little balls and bake in oven on 350 for 10-15 minutes. You can also flatten them to make cookies if you want.

Serve with a hot cup of java…because why not.

Tell me something random about your Tuesday!
I’m wearing green today so I don’t get pinched.

  1. Happy St Patty’s Day! I didn’t have a chance to upload the Big Sur pix yet but I haven’t forgotten 🙂

How are you feeling about the 50? You’re going to do awesome!

  2. Lovely blessing! And those bites look delish! My hubby bought a bunch of bananas that are probably going to go bad relatively soon. I might have to use them to try these bites. 🙂 Something random about my Tuesday: I have a good friend from grad school coming to visit my hubby and I for a few days while he does some work at Northwestern. Excited to see him! Hope you have a lovely St. Patty’s Day! ❤
