Morning run done…just enjoying some pretty spring blooms. These have been my favorite that I’ve seen so far.
This last run felt pretty good and my legs are feeling strong lately. I’m really looking forward to this weekend’s marathon. 26.2 in my favorite place to run…to kick off my birthday month. What better way than to celebrate 31 years than with a little running…and maybe a little wine after? Just saying.
Let’s talk smoothies today! If you haven’t noticed I’ve really been loving them because they’re just so easy to whip up and go in the morning! Especially with this blender that I have it’s such a perfect single serve/personal travel size.
I’ve been crushing on kale lately so I’ve got a post run strawberry kale smoothie that will satisfy your tastebuds! I especially love kale in smoothies because it makes the drink such a lovely bright green. Also…someone get me this shirt for my birthday, please and thanks. The actual day is April 26th so mark your calendars.
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 handful of organic kale
1/2 cup of frozen strawberries
1 c. of almond or cashew milk
Blend and serve! Add a strawberry or two on top. Because duh…presentation is everything.
