Running Rules of Thumb.

-There’s no such thing as too many running clothes (or shoes). If you’re like me, you need all the swag you can get.

-Running in the rain definitely makes you feel a thousand times more hardcore than running on a sunny day.

-Running is kind of like pizza. Even when you have a bad run…let’s face it…it’s still pretty dang good.

-1 glass of wine = 2 miles.

-Someone busier than you…is probably running right now. No, make that definitely.

-Spending some of your paycheck signing up for multiple races is perfectly OK. Just saying. YOLO.

-Using a porta potty at least once in your life is your initiation into the tribe of runners.

-Run in the morning…before your brain figures out what it’s doing.

What are some of your running rules of thumb?

  1. A run is always worth it, no matter what.
If you have the opportunity to run with someone, take it. Who knows when you get to spend such quality time with someone again?
never be afraid to admit you have limits, but also never be afraid to push yourself to them and push them further.
