Vitamin D and a Matcha Kale Smoothie.

I got in a nice dose of vitamin d on this morning’s run! Things are really starting to heat up down in Texas. Highs in the 90s this coming weekend! Oh yeah, bring on the summer running.

Today I’ve got an icy green smoothie to cool you off after a hot and sweaty run! With a little caffeine boost to boot. My matcha green tea kale concoction. Oh kale, yeah!

You can get the matcha green tea from your local natural foods store. I’m totally digging this one from the Republic of Tea.

Here’s what you’ll need.

2 cups of chopped up kale
1 banana
1 cup coconut almond milk
1 scoop of matcha green tea
Ice

Blend and serve! Great for mornings on the go.
