Post Run Pineapple Banana Smoothie.

6 a.m. RUNrise plus some strength work to kick things off for the day. I am loving getting up earlier for my runs lately to catch these peachy blue skies.

It has been a while since I’ve shared one of my post run concoctions with you! I love having smoothies after a tough workout especially in the summer time. This one is easy to blend and go.

Here’s what you need.

-1 handful of frozen pineapple chunks
-1 banana
-1 cup of coconut almond milk (I used Almond Breeze)
-1 scoop of your favorite protein (optional)

Mix it all up in your personal travel blender and serve! If you are looking for a great single serve blender I have to recommend this one. I have had it for years and it does not disappoint.

What are you having for breakfast this week?
Usually a smoothie (sometimes some eggs), then a midmorning snack – protein Luna bar and coffee.

  1. Oh that looks so yum!!! I need to wake up earlier these days to get my runs in early. I hate doing it later in the evening. You would think I’d have things down by now being that the littlest one is almost 2. Sheesh. Nope. Maybe another year.

  2. Gorge sunrise!! That would definitely make getting out of bed a bit easier for me! I’m all about the smoothies and fruit for breakfast these days!
