8 Miles and a Confession Session.

8 miles just before 7 am with my early bird running clique this morning. We hit the track a bit and threw some 400s in there before finishing up for the day. It felt good to be back out on the track again! I kind of love speedwork so early in the a.m.

So it has been a while since I’ve done a confession session…let’s just get right too it. In no particular order…here are my random thoughts for your viewing pleasure.

I have a love/hate relationship with Facebook. Many times I have thought about deactivating my profile…but I have this thing called FOMO (fear of missing out) so I kind of like to be in the know about things. But then I don’t. You feel me? The struggle is real.

Music is my ultimate therapy while at work. I simply don’t know how I’d get through the busy work day without it.

I have an obsession with washing my face at night…I actually do not see how anyone could go to sleep with makeup on. I actually try not to wear a lot of makeup during the work week to keep my skin nice and clear…but then maybe I’ll throw on a smokey eye on the weekends. I guess it just depends on where I’m going.

Wine Wednesday is very real. It’s kind of necessary for me to have a nice glass of red at the end of hump day. I have been loving malbec as of late.

-I guess you could say I’m the epitome of an only child. I LOVE being around people but I’m also one of those people that really craves alone time. Gotta recharge those batteries.

I will be entering the Marine Corps Marathon lotto basically as soon as it opens up at lunch time today. Think good thoughts. I’ve run it 3 times already so I hope I get in. If not I’ve got a few other options…you know I’ve always got something up my sleeve.

Who else is signing up for the MCM lotto?

Tell me something random about your day today!

  1. Hey Chelsea! I definitely feel you about the Facebook dilemma. At one point, I deactivated my account, but now I’m back on. Haha, it’s a tough one. Also, I’m obsessed with washing my face, too. I could never wear makeup at night. Have a beautiful Friday!! XOXO

  2. YAS “Only child syndrome!!”…. Dude I am right there with ya! The second I put my child to bed I am in my room with the door closed, watching my shows left ALONE! Even if its just for 10 minutes it is totally necessary lol 🙂
