Weekly Running Report.

Hey there! Life has been busy but I’m going to start getting better with checking in and catching y’all up on my weekly running workouts! Last week was a stronger week of running as I ramp back up prepping for the Orion Ultra as well as the Brazos Bend 100 MILER!! Yes, the ultrarunner girl is back. Let’s get to it.

Monday AM- 6.32 miles around the lake. It always feels good to get a Monday run in. Always tough after running all weekend long but totally worth it.
Monday PM- 2.02 cool down miles after teaching spin. Pushed the pace a bit and ran some strides. Always fun.
Tuesday AM- 7.31 early miles with the run club. Getting back into the swing of things and legs were feeling pretty good that morning.
Tuesday PM- 3.03 mile run after the gym. Doing some people watching by the lake. Getting back into some double run day running.
Wednesday AM- 6.35 miles with a bit of chocolate milk recovery. I think that is what I look fwd to the most on hump days.
Wednesday PM- 3.22 miles before grilling and chilling with the neighbor friends. It’s quickly becoming a tradition and so happy now as its getting cooler out in the evenings…patio weather perfection.
Thursday- 8.02 miles with insane humidity. The humidity was actually through the roof all of last week and it rained off and on but it was great for the temps. So the weather is starting to give me fall vibes. YESSS. Favorite time of year.
Friday- I decided to pick back up with doing my Friday AM runs…it was a rainy one but we got it done. Love my breakfast run club. 10.12 miles done.
Saturday-14.02 miles done with WRRC. With all of the rain that came in Friday NIGHT we had a ton of flooding on the streets and ended up doing some of this run in almost waist deep water lol. It sure made for some photos though.

Sunday-5.21 miles in the AM before dim sum Sunday!! Yes y’all, I had my first legit dim sum experience with friends. You just order a bunch of stuff and dig in. And it was quite awesome! Those soup dumplings (top left) were absolutely everything. Cannot wait to go back. Perfect for HUGE groups and then split the massive bill later. LOL.
