Hey there and happy Monday! Let’s recap some miles from last week! I am slowly ramping the weekly miles back up for upcoming races. I was able to get in just over 60 miles of running last week! Let’s see how it all went down.
Monday- 5.13 miles to unwind after the long work day. Great way to ease on into the week.
Tuesday AM- 4.23 lunch time miles waiting on a storm to pass. Of course we had up and down gloomy weather again. Typical for this time of year in Texas. But it felt good to get out of the office and breathe a bit. A little bit of a faster finish was nice too.
Tuesday PM- 3.25 miles, cooling down after teaching a spin class in the evening. Nice double run day miles for the day.
Wednesday- 8.12 sunset miles which was lovely. Again we had a storm pass then the sun started peeking out in the afternoon and I could not have been happier. This was a day that I honestly could have kept going for miles and miles enjoying the evening breeze.
Thursday AM- Back with the breakfast run club crew! It is a bit of an off season for some of the runners but others are gearing up for races like Boston and etc. But I always enjoy running with the crew. 7.32 miles done.
Thursday PM- 2.22 cool down miles again after teaching a class at the gym.
Friday AM- 5.32 miles and we’ve had some amazing sunrises lately on Fridays. This one made my soul quite happy.
Friday PM- Went for a quick mini run with a friend just to catch up on life and such. 3.02 miles plus the most delicious cheeseburger and mashed potatoes in life.
Saturday- Running with the WRRC crew. 16.22 miles and some fly kicks.
Sunday- Woohoo a RUN STREAK week! 5.31 Sunday funday runday miles finito.
And there you have it!
Oh yes, and it is official. Hachie 50 miler I am so coming for ya. Can’t wait to run 50 miler number 6. Whoa.
