Weekly Running Report.

Hey there and happy new week! Hopefully you got outside and got some sun and fresh air. Let’s recap last week’s miles! I’ve been eyeing a few virtual races but in the meantime just trying to get some maintenance miles!! Let’s see how it all went down.

Monday- Sunset miles in the ‘hood. It was definitely plenty of people out (especially with Texas relaxing a lot of restrictions) so just trying to find new routes and mix things up and stay away from the masses. 5.12 miles done.

Tuesday- 5.22 mile lunch run. Picked up the pace a bit towards the end. Legs were feeling a little more fresh on this day.

Wednesday- 4.22 miles in the AM to the tune of this amazing view.

Thursday- 7.12 miles of HOT lunch time miles. It was another 90 degree day and I got some hill climbing in. Good stuff.

Friday- Chill lunch miles picking up the pace with a new route. 4.11 miles done and saving the legs a bit for Saturday’s long run.

Saturday- 15.02 miles with Jenna! I started a tad earlier with some warm up miles before meeting her and we were off. She was super sweet enough to bring me a HUMA gel which I super needed! Honestly I haven’t been really fueling with gels lately but was glad I did on this day. It gave me the extra boost that I really needed.

Sunday– REST DAY. Actually went out on a boat to enjoy the water which was quite lovely before doing a social distance date with my mama on mama’s day. IT’S ALL GOOD.
