Running, Weekly Running Report

Weekly Running Report.

Happy new week to you! Hopefully you got your stimulus dollars (if you qualified) and are feeling good and healthy this week! I’m here to share some of last week’s miles and smiles. Let’s get right to it!

My body has been feeling good and I am back to regular massage therapy work and keeping my weekly mileage fairly solid. Still debating on some in person races and maybe will even throw some virtual ones in there! As of right now I’m still signed up for the Hachie 50 mile race which is in May. That is if they do not cancel it. With so much up in the air I’m just trying to keep myself flexible! Mentally as well as psychically.

Let’s see how it all went down!

Monday- REST DAY. This was actually more of an active recovery day for me after the weekend of workouts. I’m working on being consistent this year with yoga and I’m loving at home as well as studio yoga. Check this girl out if you want some at home stuff. She just makes my soul happy.

Tuesday AM- 6.33 lunch miles enjoying my neighborhood view.

Tuesday PM- 4.02 miles to get in over 10.3 miles for the day. Night time serenity is the best kind of serenity doing some people and lake watching.

Wednesday- 5.22 lunch miles with some hill climbing for good measure. I’ve been loving hills lately to spice things up and keep things exciting.

Thursday- 7.31 miles for breakfast with cloudy cooler skies. Thursday mornings have always been my jam in terms of the morning run. It’s something about Thursdays that are always my favorite. Or shall we call that Friday Jr.

Friday- 7.33 miles with some rolling hills for lunch.

Saturday- 12.02 miles + a stunning sunrise down at White Rock Lake! Followed by mimosas with a runner friend. Fun fun for everyone.

Sunday- Rest day plus a food pic to share. Shrimp and taters have been my jam lately until CRAWFISH season comes back. Can’t wait for that and some mardi gras action.

And there you have it!

How was your weekend? What’s your go to meal lately?
I’ve also been loving any kind of cool crisp fresh salad and anything with tomatoes and cucumbers.
